HEALTHY BREAKFAST

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  What you eat for breakfast will determine the amount of energy you have throughout the day.  The best choices will include foods that provide healthy carbohydrates, lean protein, and healthy fats.

The options for breakfast range from grab and go foods at a coffee shop or convenience store to cafeteria foods, at school or work.  The availability of foods should not determine what you eat.  Foods that are ready to eat are not always the healthy or cheap.

What I do is prepare foods that I can reheat in the morning to make a fast breakfast.  Oatmeal can be made in advance and reheated.  Eggs with vegetables with Ezekiel toast make a fast breakfast.  Yogurt with fresh fruit for breakfast is fast and easy also.

Make healthy choices in the morning to provide the energy you need to start your day.

Love and best wishes,

Tracy
