HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2022

Thanksgiving is a great time to get together with family and friends and enjoy the start of the holiday season.  Be thankful for the things you have and for the wonderful people in your life.  Let others know how much you care and love them.

During the holidays there are many delicious meals, sweet treats and drinks making it easy to go overboard with eating and drinking.  In my book, Fit and Healthy Throughout Life, and my new book, Surviving and Thriving After Cancer, I have a chapter called, Survive the Holidays.  My tips will help you enjoy the holidays without the weight gain and regret some experience in the new year after overindulging.  Enjoy the best of the holiday foods and be healthy and happy for yourself and those you love.

Each day is a gift which is why it is called the Present.  Take care of yourself by exercising every day to help eliminate stress and burn calories. Exercise releases endorphins which make you feel great while relieving stress which often comes with holidays.  Cardiovascular and strength building exercise will keep you strong and add more years to your life.
