The morning is my favorite time to work out and I do it every day. Starting the day with exercise gets blood flowing, heart pumping and thoughts flowing. Everything comes alive in the body when you are in motion. A body in motion stays in motion.
One way to make exercise part of your daily routine is to do it at the same time every day. Set your alarm early enough so you have 2 hours to devote to your routine. Set everything out the night before you go to sleep to be ready to go as soon as the alarm goes off. Don’t hit the snooze button or roll over and go back to sleep. Get up and go!
I’m at the gym by 4:00 AM starting with cardio on the elliptical trainer or the stationary bike for one hour and then I lift weights for 30 minutes and do core exercises. This boost of energy gets my day started off on the right foot. I get home by 6:00 AM, have breakfast and go on with my day.
My home workout consists of spinning bike and free weights which I can do at home if I cannot make it to the gym. If I am pressed for time I can exercise at home before work. My Pilates Reformer is in the front living room which I use a few times a week.
There is always time to do the important things in life and taking care of your body is vital to staying healthy.
Plan your exercise routine today and make it a healthy habit every day.
Love and best wishes,
Tracy
