STAY HEALTHY STAY SAFE

We are approaching a time when we will start to return to a version of life as we knew it prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.  As we make this transition it is important to remember to take good care of yourself and your family by continuing to follow the guidelines set by President Trump and the Corona Virus Task Force, the CDC and your state’s governor.  Keep in mind that these guidelines are in place to keep all people safe from the COVID-19 Virus.

Staying healthy and safe is important at all times and wearing a face mask, keeping a distance of six feet apart while in public will help protect you and protect others.  Wearing gloves and washing your hands is also very important.  Keep your hands away from your face until your hands are thoroughly cleaned with warm water and soap.

Taking care of your health is something that you need to do at all times.  Eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits and 100% whole grains to give your body the nutrients and the fiber it needs.  Eat lean protein like fish, chicken breast or fermented tofu.

Daily exercise is a great way to maintain a healthy weight and to keep your body in top shape even while sheltering in place.  You can exercise at home with weights or bands.  Get outside for a run, a bike ride or a walk which will also help to keep your weight in check.  Exercise also releases endorphins that make you feel good.

Consistently making healthy living a priority is essential to keep yourself and your family safe and virus free during these times of crisis.
