Daily exercise is also important for your health and helps you maintain a healthy body weight. The benefits of exercise are protection from high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, obesity, and back pain. Exercise also makes you feel great and can improve your mood in the first few minutes. The emotional benefits of daily exercise are improved mood, through the release of chemicals like endorphins and serotonin. Exercise can get you out in the world or in a different environment that takes away worry, loneliness and isolation and puts you in touch with other people who are doing healthy activities.
