INDEPENDENCE DAY

This year we will be able to celebrate the July 4th Independence Day in our country which is the annual celebration of nationhood.  Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we were unable to have public gatherings in 2020 which makes this year’s celebration even more significant where we can rejoice in our freedoms of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  Our ancestors fought in the American Revolution for these rights and to declare independence from Great Britain.

In 1765 to 1783 The American Revolutionary war was fought with Britain.  The thirteen colonies defeated Great Britain in the America Revolutionary War 1775-1783 and gained independence from the British Crown establishing the United States of America, the first modern constitutional liberal democracy.   On July 4, 1776, the Second Continental Congress unanimously adopted the Declaration of Independence, announcing the colonies’ separation from Great Britain.  This significant event inspired other nations in the world to do away with their oppressive governments and establish representative governments that represented the ideals of the population.

We live in the greatest country in the world, and many are clamoring to enter the country over the years and become citizens as they recognize the unique freedoms that were established with the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.  Celebrate with your family and loved ones this unique and special event in our country’s history.

Love and best wishes,

Tracy
