Everything in life is possible when you are in good health from running in a marathon to climbing a mountain and everything in between. Great health is something everyone can achieve when they understand that health matters. There is nothing that protects your health more than what you do with your body every day. Therefore, it is important to live every day in a positive healthy way so you can live a long, happy life.
Over the past two years many people have tested positive for COVID19 and sadly some lives have been lost to this virus. What is not talked about is how many people have survived the virus. Health matters when exposed to or testing positive for COVID19. Healthy people who do not have underlying conditions are more likely to survive this virus and have only mild symptoms.
The best way to protect your health is to eat foods that are rich in nutrients. Fruits and vegetables contain phytonutrients that can only be found in nature. Boost your immune system by consuming a wide variety of fruits, vegetables. Avoid or strictly limit alcohol, highly processed foods, fast foods, sugary snacks, and sugary drinks. Make sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, I will recommend even more to help keep hydration up and prevent dehydration. Limit caffeine as it is a diuretic and inhibits your kidney’s ability to absorb water. Alcohol also causes dehydration due to its diuretic properties.
When it comes to your health these recommendations can make a big difference. Always ask yourself if the foods you eat are nutrient dense. Make time to exercise each day and teach your family to do the same. By following these simple steps, you can avoid illness, improve health and enjoy a long happy life.
