Physical fitness is the state of health and well-being of the body which experts define as “one’s ability to execute daily activities with optimal performance, endurance and strength with the management of disease, fatigue, and stress and reduced sedentary behavior”.
Everyone wants to achieve fitness and great health but many are confused about how to achieve it. To become fit and healthy many people start a strict diet which is very low in calorie or they eliminate all carbohydrates or become a vegetarian. These things may help with weight loss but there is something missing.
Moving the body is extremely important in the quest for great health and fitness. Living a sedentary life means sitting, laying down, resting, with little to no physical activity. The key to being healthy is daily exercise along with a healthy nutrient dense diet. The combination of exercise and healthy eating will make it easier to lose weight and will improve health, fitness, and general well-being. Making a habit of daily exercise improves mood, helps reduce stress and makes it easier to get a good night’s sleep.
