In the United States Independence Day, also known as the 4th of July, is celebrated across the country. There are family picnics, parades, baseball games barbeques and fireworks. This is a great day to spend with fellow Americans to remember our great country.
Independence Day is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence, which had largely been written by Thomas Jefferson, one of our founding fathers. The signing of the Declaration of independence took place on July 2, 1776. The date of July 4 became the day to celebrate the birth of American Independence.
Have a wonderful 4th of July and celebrate the Independence of America by being thankful to live in this great country.
Love and best wishes,
Tracy
