Read the label to see what the ingredients are and how much sugar, fat, artificial ingredients, caffeine, or other stimulants, are in the product before you buy it or give it to your family.
Reading labels should be something you do with anything you buy. There are many different types of sugar used in drinks, cereals, and other products that people consume. The hidden, natural occurring and added sweeteners all count as sugar in your choice of product. Manufacturers have become very skilled at disguising sweeteners, artificial ingredients and stimulants that can be added to their product.
The best way to assure the foods you eat are healthy is to consume foods that are in their natural state, fruits, and vegetables, 100% whole grains and avoid processed foods. Read the labels and look up any words that you do not know.
