JUMP START YOUR DAY

Start every day with exercise to get the blood flowing, waking up every part of your body, especially your brain.  People talk about brain fog in the mornings which can be prevented by getting 8 hours of sleep a night.  Start every day with exercise which produces endorphins, reduces stress, and creates a feeling of well-being.

The most important meal of the day is breakfast because your body has been fasting and repairing all night and needs nutrients from healthy foods and hydration, from water, to replenish the supplies.  High quality protein like eggs, turkey, yogurt and 100% whole grains with fruit and water will get you off to a great start.

This is the time of year when everyone is out shopping for gifts, food, and decorations for the holidays.  Traffic is heavier, people are distracted and unfortunately accidents happen.  The best way to stay safe during the holidays is to take good care of yourself and your family.  Stick to your healthy eating and exercise all year round to live a long and healthy life.
