There will be Super Bowl parties with a variety of foods, snacks, and drinks, including alcohol. Reporters give the statistics on who will win and lose, as well as how much food will be consumed before and during the game. Like all gatherings people get excited, overeat and drink too much alcohol. Some have proposed the Monday after the big game should be a day off for everyone to recover.
